75 year old Russel Finken passed away June 15th. He was raised in Logan where his family owned Mars Cafe. He earned his teaching degree from Dana College and was an area teacher and school administrator. He is survived by his children, Zack, Luke, Seth and Carmen and other family members. No services are planned, he requested his body to be donated to the University of Nebraska Medical Center


86 year old Eileen Barry Seaman of Woodbine passed June 17th. She was a teacher in Denison and later farmed. She is survived by her daughters, Kelly Richards of Fort Calhoun and Lauren Roden of Logan and their families. Memorial services are Monday, June 23rd, 10:30 am at the United Methodist Church in Woodbine.

 Jane VanCleave Mulder of Lincoln (Dec.30, 1971-June 13, 2025) formerly of Omaha and Blair passed away June 13th. She is survived by her husband, Dan, daughters Lucy and Annie Mulder, father Jim Van Cleave of Blair and her brother John, along with other family members. Eva Osorio Scott (Nov. 16, 1955 – June 13, 2025) of Blair passed away June 13th. She is remembered by her husband, Clinton Scott and their children, Jennifer and Mona, her father Ricardo Polanco and her siblings Carlos, Mona, Jesse, Lava and Sally and their families. Visiting with family is this evening 6-8pm at Campbell Aman, the Memorial Service is tomorrow 11am Hillside Church in Blair, Graveside service follows at the Blair Cemetery

Michael Jaber of Fort Calhoun (July 31, 1957-June 11, 2025) passed away June 11th. He is remembered by his wife, Nancy, sister Nancy, daughter Christine, son Ryan and step children. A celebration of life is this Sunday, 3pm at Campbell-Aman.


Daryl Nelson (January 25, 1949-June 9, 2025) Most recently of Good Shepard Nursing Home in Blair, passed away June 9th. He is survived by his children, Debbie DeMott, Leslie Tenney and Daryl Nelson, Junior and their families. A Celebration of Life is tomorrow 11am at Living Hope Assembly of God.


73 year old Mary Jane Baxter Watts, of Modale passed away May 3rd. . The Celebration of Life is Saturday, June 28th at the Missouri Valley Eagles Club from 3 to 6pm.
