67 year old Duane “Rick” Sprick of Lenexa Kansas, a 1976 graduate of Fort Calhoun, passed away September 17th. He is survived by his wife, Holly, and their children Sam and Hanna, siblings Paula Grotelueschen, brother Stu, and other family members. Visitation is Friday 5-8pm, the Masonic service is at 7:30, at Sievers-Sprick Funeral home. The Celebration of Life Service is at 11 this Saturday morning at the Fort Calhoun Presbyterian Church.


79 year old M.Elaine Farris of Little Sioux passed away October 4th. She is survived by her son, Randy, Daughter Becky and their families. Visitation is tomorrow evening, 6:30 to 8 at Hennessey, the Memorial Service is Wednesday 10am at the Mondamin Church of Christ.

96 year old Leah Lowe Cameron of Oakland, formerly of Herman, passed away October 2nd. She attended Dana College and later farmed with her husband. She is survived by her children, Terry Cameron, Karen Carr and Mack Cameron and their families. Visitation is tonight, 5-7, the funeral tomorrow, 10:30 am, both at First Baptist Church of Tekamah.


80 year old Richard Kruse of Bennington, formerly of Arlington and Kennard, passed away October 1st. He was a maintainer operator for Washington County. He is survived by his wife, Barb, siblings Mari Japp and Ron Kruse, his children: Denise Rayman, Dana Schmidt and Todd Kruse and their families. the Celebration of Life is 10:30 am tomorrow, at Zion Lutheran Church in Omaha.


75 year old Michael Daily of Council Bluffs passed away September 16th. Services are pending.

72 year old Gary Magill of Tekamah passed away September 22nd. He is survived by his sister Diane Gear of Lake Havasu City, Arizona and nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be this coming Saturday, October 11th at the Chatt Center in Tekamah.
