RABIES A CONCERN - NEBRASKA DHHS


Rabies has been detected in Nebraska according to the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services. Nine animals have tested positive for Rabies, of those, eight were bats, one was a dog. You’re encouraged to make sure household pets are up to date on rabies vaccinations. If a bat gets into your house, don’t let it outside until you have contacted an animal control or public health official.
