HAWKEYE STATE CAUTIONS TO HAVE SAFE DRIVING PLANS FOR ST. PATTY'S WEEK
Iowa is concerned about people celebrating Saint Patrick’s Day a little too enthusiastically and then driving. The Hawkeye state’s Governor’s Traffic Safety Bureau and area law enforcement agencies are providing special coverage of area roadways this week.
A media release from the Iowa Department of Public Safety says 48 people last year died or were seriously injured March 11th through the 19th. You’re encouraged to use a designated driver, rideshare or call a taxi.
