Those with a heavy right foot are making their presence known in the Hawkeye State. The Iowa State Patrol says three drivers on I-29 Monday in the Harrison and Monona County areas were caught driving above posted limits.
A 17 year old female driver was clocked at 111 miles per hour, a 53 year old man at 101, and a 25 year old male at 105 miles per hour, with no license, no insurance and a fake temporary tag.
The Iowa State Patrol reminds drivers that driving faster than the posted limits not only impacts your driving privileges and car insurance but can lead to fatalities and life altering injuries.
