4.6 Billion dollars has been generated by the Nebraska tourism industry – this during the Tourism Conference in Lincoln.
The head of the Nebraska Travel Association, Kerri Rempp, says Nebraska’s third largest industry IS tourism.
Others attending that conference say there is no shortage of attractions throughout the state, including it’s Native American Culture, pioneer sagas, fossils and hunting, along with natural formations such as Chimney Rock and others.
Growth for tourism amounted to 187 million dollars in revenues in 2010, by 2024, that figure grew to 323 million dollars according to Rempp at that gathering last week.
