SUSPECT IN MURDER OF FT. CALHOUN CLERGY PLEADS GUILTY

Tuesday morning, the man charged with murder in the death of a Fort Calhoun priest in December of 2023, Kierre Williams, plead guilty to those charges.

Washington County Attorney Scott VanderSchaaf says Mr. Williams chose to hold himself accountable and to not put Father Gutgsell’s family, relatives, friends or this community through a trial, and added there would be no further comments until after sentencing.
