CAR-TRAIN COLLISION, HIT AND RUN ON WASHINGTON COUNTY SHERIFF'S ACTIVITY SUMMARY
A car-train collision last night at 8pm at County Roads 19 and 36 is on the Washington County Sheriff’s Activity Summary for the weekend. No reports of injury in that incident. A theft in Fort Calhoun, a transformer box was hit in the 24 thousand block of Turkey Ridge Lane. A hand full of warrant arrests, a 45 year old woman was arrested at the Highway 30 roundabout for drunk driving.
A 25 year old male was arrested by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office last week for drunk driving and a hit and run in the parking lot of the Blair Hospital. Also on Sheriff Mike Robinson’s report for this past week, a car-deer collision at Highway 75 and Miller Ranch Lane, an injury accident in Blair involving a drunk driver – the driver was transported to the hospital. Loose cows, and two horses are among the animals that were moved out of roadways by deputies.
