Washington County Sheriff's Summary

THEY WERE NOT TEENAGE MUTANT...

Arrests on the Washington County Sheriff’s Activity Summary for this past week include a 28 year old male arrests after a traffic stop on Highway 75 and County Road p-12 for two warrants from Sarpy County and driving under suspension.

A 24 year old man was arrested on Highway 75 and County Road p-43 for driving under suspension.

Also on Sheriff Mike Robinson’s report, heat buckled the roadway at Highway 30 and County Road 9 near the Fairgrounds in Arlington, the state roads department was contacted.

A driver reported that a large truck forced her off the roadway at Highway 75 and Power Lane.

Among the many other matters on the Sheriff’s Activity summary, two separate incidents of animals on the roadway – which were large snapping turtles. Responding officers moved the turtles from Highway 133 and County Road p-28, and from Highway 30 at the round a bout.
