DRONE INCIDENT NEAR POWER STATION ON WASHINGTON COUNTY SHERIFF'S SUMMARY FOR THE WEEKEND
Three arrests are on the Washington County Sheriff’s Activity Report for January 3rd through this morning. A 49 year old male was arrested for third offense drunk driving, obstruction and resisting arrest after the man approached deputies that had observed him drive to a convenience store in Blair.
A 36 year old male was arrested on a Douglas County Warrant in the 1900 block of County Road 45. A 20 year old male was arrested at the Roundabout at Highway 30 and 133- pulled over for speeding, he was found to be driving under suspension and had no proof of insurance.
Also on Sheriff Mike Robinson’s report, a woman reported a vehicle with Missouri Plates parked near the Omaha Public Power District Plant, when she went to talk to the man, a drone flew into his sunroof and he drove off. The sheriff’s office notified OPPD security.
A call early this morning about an infant choking in the 1800 block of County Road 15 - the child’s airway was cleared and the reporting party transported the baby to the hospital.
