Weather Report on Last Night's Storm

The National Weather Service of Omaha/Valley reported that Severe Thunderstorms producing up to 2 inches of rain moved through the area overnight. The weather not only produced significant lightning but also had a history of producing wind gusts of over 70 miles per hour.

Alerts were sent out that included the possibility for tornadoes and did issue a tornado warning for areas including northwest Dodge County.

After these storms the forecast calls for cooler temperatures and continued chances of rain in the 5 day extended forecast.
