The City of Blair City Council meeting took place Tuesday evening. Among several items on the agenda the City Council approved a revised no-parking map for Meadow Drive after reviewing resident feedback and concerns. This came after a recent update regarding parking restrictions went into place.

A statement from the City of Blair came out from this meeting, “We would like to extend a special thank you to the residents who took the time to contact their City Council representatives and engage in the process. This is a great example of how local government works best—when residents make their voices heard and elected officials bring those concerns forward. If there is one takeaway from this process, it is this: If you want to see change, reach out to your City Council representative. They are your direct connection to City government and play an important role in representing the needs and concerns of their constituents. This process demonstrates that resident feedback matters. Thank you for continuing to engage with us as we work to balance neighborhood concerns with the safety needs of our community and first responders. Your voice matters, and we encourage residents to continue participating in local government and sharing their concerns with their elected representatives.”
The city of Blair has developed a feedback link for residents to contact and track their concerns via blairne.gov.
