PLATTING CHANGES, NEW TRAIL CONNECTOR PART OF BLAIR CITY COUNCIL ACTION LAST NIGHT
Changing the platting for the Elk Ridge subdivision means negating the previous plans and agreements and approving the new plans and agreements, and that is what happened at last night’s Blair City Council meeting.
Platting, developer agreements and paving districts were all revised.
Agreements for materials testing for several projects also approved.
Among the many matters handled by the city council last night, applying for federal funding for a trail connecting to River Road was okayed. That trail will be 10 feet wide with a six inch layer of pavement, and connect with existing trails going from Grant Street to 4th, then under the Highway 30 bridge and tie into the Jackson Street trail to the river. The cost of that project – one and a half million dollars.
