Experienced Ham Radio Operators will be at the Blair Public Library on January 4th from 10:30 to 2:30 for International Kids Day on the air. It is for all ages, however. If you have questions, call 402-426-3617
An anonymous survey by the Eastern Nebraska Office on Aging – to determine if there is a need for low cost healthy lunches for those in the area aged 60 and older. Those surveys can be done through a QR code, through a link or a paper questionnaire. More information can be found on the Blair Radio Facebook Page.
With any prediction of snow, the possibility of power outages from downed electrical lines exists. Three Rivers Public Health Department recommends preparing an emergency kit - which should include a flashlight and extra batteries, portable chargers and power banks. Battery operated or hand crank radios, first aid kit, water and non-perishable food.
