HERE’S WHATS HAPPENING IN OUR AREA…
Blair’s fifth grade students at Arbor Park and Deerfield are presenting a musical version of Winnie the Pooh, Friday, April 4th 6pm at Deerfield. There will be just one performance, there is no admission fee, though donations will be welcome.
The Blair American Legion and Sons of the American Legion is having a steak fry Saturday, April 5th from 5 to 8pm to support the Legion’s baseball teams. Tickets are $30 and include steak, salad, and more.
Applications for scholarships through the Washington County Community Foundation are due no later than April 1st. Details at washcocommfoundation.org
Just a reminder that applications for the Dana College Foundation’s Legacy Scholarships are due by this Monday, March 31st. The scholarships are available to descendants of Dana Alumni, faculty or staff. More information can be found online at danaalumni.org
The Harrison County, Iowa Public Health fair is Saturday, April 5th at the fair grounds in Missouri Valley
An online Silent Auction Fundraiser for Rosco’s Rescue Ranch is Aprl 5th and 6th. More details can be found on the Rosco’s Rescue Ranch’s Facebook Page.
The Blair Memorial Community Hospital’s Health Fair is Saturday, April 12th from 7am to noon...and will feature free adult health screenings, kids activities and screenings and much more. It is open to the public and most activities are free of charge. More information can be found at the hospital’s social media.
