HERE’S WHAT’S HAPPENING IN OUR AREA…
The Blair Memorial Community Hospital’s Auxiliary is having it’s annual rummage sale – This Thursday and Friday from 9am to 7pm, and Saturday Bag Sale 9 til noon. The sale is at the City of Blair Public Works Building, 341 Grant Street.
Books, DVD’s and CD’s will be on sale at the Blair Public Library and Technology Center now through Thursday, September 27th. Those items are available for a free will donation.
Three Rivers Public Health Department is conducting free car seat checks on September 22nd from 4 to 6 pm at Blair’s Memorial Community Hospital’s main parking lot, 810 North 22nd Street in Blair. No appointment is needed.
If you have well water, Three Rivers Public Health Department will provide free water testing kits for bacteria and nitrates – to residents of Dodge, Saunders and Washington Counties, Free of Charge. You can pick up those well water testing kits at Three Rivers Public Health Department offices in each county.
The Blair Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department is having their annual Pancake Breakfast on Sunday, October 5th from 7am to 12:30 pm at the Blair South Fire station. First Responder vehicles, Smokey the Bear and more will be there as well. A free will donation will be appreciated.
A blood drive is October 9th at the Missouri Valley High School from 8am to 2pm.
