HERE’S WHAT’S HAPPENING IN OUR AREA…

The 55th annual Blair Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department’s Pancake Breakfast and Open House is Sunday, October 5th from 7am til 12:30 pm at the Blair South Fire House at 16th and Lincoln. Breakfast along with first responder demonstrations, door prizes, Smokey the Bear and more. A Free Will donation for this fundraising breakfast will be appreciated.

The Tekamah-Herman Schools Scholastic Book Fair is September 29th through October 2nd. Those hours are before and after school 7:45 to 8:10 and 3:25 pm through 3:50 pm. You can see more on the Tekamah-Herman School’s Facebook page.

The Dana Village Clean Up Day is September 27th from 8 til 11am at 2925 Angel’s Share Drive in Blair. Clearing out brush and light construction work are the focus. Bring gloves and appropriate tools. Lunch will be provided. Volunteer now by scanning the QR code on the post at Blair Radio’s Facebook page.

The Blair Public Library and Technology Center’s Book Market is underway now through September 27th. This fundraising sale has books, DVD’s and Compact Disks for a free will donation. This at 2233 Civic Drive during regular Library hours.
