High winds – up to 70 miles per hour are expected in our area tomorrow, according to the National Weather Service.
A High Wind Warning is in effect from 9am to 9pm tomorrow.
The weather service is recommending that you stow away or secure loose outdoor items. Those who drive high profile vehicles should take extra caution, overturned trucks are often seen in these high wind situations.
Omaha Public Power District is ramping up for possible outages from limbs falling on lines.
We also have a very high fire danger from those winds and existing dry conditions. Outdoor furniture, grills, decorations should be put away.
Please also make sure pets, livestock and other outdoor animals are in a safe situation before those winds kick in tomorrow.
