Forward movement for golf cart usage on the streets of Blair.
UTV’S and ATV’s are already allowed for use on Blair City Streets. A request to allow golf carts to be used in the same manner has been put forth to the Blair City Council.
City Attorney Desirae Solomon provided council members at last night’s meeting with the foundational wording for that measure, but told the council that they decide how strict it should be. Questions about safety inspections and liability were discussed.
The proposal was approved on first reading and must go through two more readings before final approval. The wording of that amendment to existing ordinance can be altered before that final vote.
