A pick up truck rear ended a semi-truck that had stopped for a red light.
The name of the person who died in the traffic accident at 10th and Washington yesterday has been released according to Blair Police Captain Travis Lyon.
Captain Lyon says the driver of the pickup, 72 year old Dennis Showers of Missouri Valley, died, the driver of the semi truck, 30 year old Curtis Malone of Dow City, Iowa was not injured.
