Murder in the First degree, two counts of use of a deadly weapon to commit a felony, First degree assault, Domestic assault first degree, burglary, and child abuse. Those are the charges read against 22-year-old Elijah Logan in Washington County Court this morning. This after the death of Jordan Ely last Friday as he tried to protect his sister and nephew in their home on Tenth Street in Blair. No bail has been set, the suspect is to be in custody during proceedings according to County Attorney Scott VanderSchaaf. Logan’s attorney has not yet entered a plea to those charges. The next hearing is June 7th.
