RESCUE EFFORTS TURN TO RECOVERY EFFORTS IN FREMONT EXPLOSION
First responders are now focusing on a recovery effort at the Horizon BioFuel’s plant in Fremont.

Three people – a worker and his two daughters were in the facility at the time of the explosion just before noon yesterday.
Fremont mayor Joey Spellerberg, in a news conference this morning, says the children were at the plant waiting for the man to finish working before going to a doctors appointment.
Several fire departments remained on the scene overnight to extinguish the still burning fires – including Lincoln’s Nebraska Task Force 1, Arlington, Nickerson, North Bend, Hooper, , Waterloo, Valley, Cedar Bluffs and Scribner.
The Dodge County Sheriff's Office reminds us that this is still a working site for first responders and you're asked to avoid the area.
