SUSPECT IN STROMSBURG COUPLE'S DEATH DENIED LOWER BOND REQUEST

A request for a lower bond has been denied for one of the suspects in the murder of a Stromsburg Couple and their unborn baby.

A Judge in Lincoln denied the request by an attorney for Sayde Titus to lower bond from one million dollars to 250 thousand dollars. Bond would be ten percent of that amount.

Titus’ attorney says the woman has two minor children she’s in charge of – a 13 year old and a four year old and that the woman would not be a flight risk. The prosecution, however, says Titus is alleged to have helped destroy evidence.

The next hearing in the matter is in March.
