TEMPERATURES ARE NOT GOING TO STAY LIKE THIS ALL WINTER...IOWA STATE PATROL SAYS TO PREPARE

Temperatures are spring-like for the next few days, and it might be a good time to prepare your vehicle for winter weather.

The Iowa State Patrol recommends keeping a full tank of gas, a mobile phone charger, flashlights, extra clothing, a first aid kit, ice scraper and snow brush, bottled water and, to be practical, a roll or two of toilet paper.

Additionally, any medications that you may need should you get stuck in a snowbank in the future.
