WASHINGTON COUNTY SHERIFF'S WEEKEND ACTIVITY SUMMARY

   

An accident in Herman last night is on the Washington County Sheriff’s Activity Report for October 3rd through this morning. In that matter, a driver lost control of their vehicle and crashed into a garage on 6th Street in Herman – the driver was transported to UNMC in Omaha.

   

An elderly male from Omaha became lost near Highway 75 and County Road p-16 was unable to follow directions. Blair Police completed that traffic stop and turned the driver over to a family member.

   

A motorcycle fled an attempted traffic stop at Highway 75 and County Road 9, deputies lost sight of the vehicle. A call to Blair police to stop and hold the motorcyclist if found. That bike was found crashed in Blair.

   

Among the other matters on Sheriff Mike Robinson’s report for the weekend, a deputy attempting to serve a Dangerous Dog Letter in the 20 thousand block of County Road 28, ended up being bitten by two dogs at that property. The letter was successfully served by the sheriffs office later that afternoon.

   

Those are just a few of the incidents handled by the Washington County Sheriff’s office this past weekend.
