VEHICLE FIRE WITH RESCUE, SPEEDING MINOR AND SEMI LOADED DOWN WITH LIVESTOCK BREAKS DOWN
An accident late yesterday evening at Highway 30 and County Road p-30 – with reports of a vehicle on fire in a ditch – the driver was transported to UNMC by Life Net. Also on the Washington County Sheriff’s report for the weekend, a 20 year old female was arrested for first offense DUI and MIP, as well as speeding 92 miles per hour in a 70 mile per hour zone at Highway 133 and County Road 30. A semi loaded with livestock broke down at Highway 75 and County Road 30 Friday afternoon. Deputies provided traffic control while the livestock were off loaded. Also on Sheriff Mike Robinson’s report, street bikes were racing in the 3200 block of County Road p-51, but had departed to Douglas County before deputies arrived.
