ATTACK IN THE EARLY HOURS THIS MORNING NEAR FT. CALHOUN

An apparent shooting in the early hours – a call received at 12:03 am in the seven thousand block of County Road 39 – received by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, the caller says his brother was shot in the head and bleeding profusely – inside the front door of his home. The follow up investigation shows it was not a gunshot wound but rather, the victim was struck by a blunt instrument. No suspects have been located at this time.
