A disturbance late last night in the 4700 block of Trout Lane ends in the arrest of a woman who was found to have an active warrant.
Also on the Washington County Sheriff’s Activity Summary just released today, a case of horsing around at school ends up with a trip to the hospital. A parent transports their son who had been riding on the hood of a car in the parking lot of the Fort Calhoun high school when he fell off and under the car.
Deputies arrested a man for driving while revoked near highway 75 and County Road p-12.
An attempted burglary at a concession stand in Arlington is under investigation.
A hand full of scams are also reported, some regarding allegations that a grandchild was in trouble and needed bail money immediately. In one instance in the county, the daughter of the targeted elderly victim intervened and no money was sent to scammers.
Generally, we hear about cows and horses being out of their enclosures, and its been a few years now since the wandering emus of Washington County have been in the news. However earlier this week, a call to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, this time, a goat at large on County Road 51 and Pooh Bear Lane. The goat was retrieved and returned home.
