WEATHER SPOTTER TRAINING COMING UP!
Weather has been a bit of a rollercoaster, and it’s likely to continue that way. The National Weather Service is in need of spotters for severe weather.
Several trainings are planned for volunteer spotters in Nebraska and Iowa. Those in Washington County can participate in a virtual training online. An in-person training is Wednesday, April 5th for Harrison County, Iowa. Thursday, April 20th for Washington County volunteers, Wednesday, April 26th for those in the Tekamah area.
Locations of the trainings are yet to be determined, but you can find more information online at weather.gov/oax/spotter.
