Saturday mornings in Blair, numerous vehicles line up at the Washington County Recycling Center at 3rd and Colfax, those vehicles drive through a building that has garage doors in the entrance and the exit, and volunteers swoop in to remove recyclable materials from those vehicles as rapidly as possible. Other volunteers sort those materials. That’s every Saturday morning from 8am until noon. Tuesday afternoons offer another option to bring your recyclable materials. All of this is done by volunteers. The Washington County Recycling Association needs volunteers this coming Saturday and the following Saturday.
