ACCIDENTS, MAIL THEFT ON WASHINGTON COUNTY SHERIFF'S SUMMARY 1/3/23-1/6/23

More mail thefts in the county – The Washington County Sheriff’s Activity Summary for January 2nd through this morning shows mail theft in the 6400 block of County Road p-36 and in the 8000 block of Tamarisk Lane and a possible mail theft in the 19 thousand block of Greene Street.

A report of a reckless driver in the 4900 block of county road p-43 ends in the arrest of a 39 year old male for driving under the influence, possession of a controlled substance and other drug related charges.

A number of weather related accidents are also on Sheriff Mike Robinson’s report, along with an incident Wednesday evening in which a man with dementia who was not supposed to drive after dark became lost and a Herman firefighter found him and brought him to the Herman Fire Hall, where his family was contacted and came and picked the man up along with his vehicle.
