CHILD HURT THURSDAY IN DOWNTOWN ACCIDENT

A young girl on a bicycle yesterday afternoon, while crossing Washington Street near 19th, was struck by a vehicle and suffered abrasions and was treated by the Blair Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department.

Blair Police also responded.

Fire Chief Joe Leonard strongly encourages parents to review traffic safety measures with their children frequently and reminds drivers to be patient and be alert to children trying to cross roadways.
