46 year old Elizabeth Elliot of Harlan, Iowa, passed away April 27th. Elizabeth was the former assistant editor of the Blair Newspaper with Enterprize Media Group. She moved in 2022 to be editor of the Harlan Tribune. She is survived by her father, John, siblings Beckie McKenzie, Kevin, Maggie and Ella Elliot and other family members. Visitation is Monday, May 8th, 5-7pm at John A. Gentleman, The wake service follows at 7. The Mass of Christian Burial is Tuesday, 10:30 at Saint Pius the Tenth Catholic Church in Omaha.

91 year old Lola Giesselmann Scheer of Arlington passed away May 2nd. She is survived by her children and their families – Dean, Marlene Pyatt, Kent, Kevin, Paul and David. Visitation is this Sunday at Ludvigsen from 3 to 6, the funeral is Monday, 10:30 at Saint Paul Lutheran Church of Arlington.

59 year old Russell Mefferd of Missouri Valley died April 28th in an automobile accident. He is survived by his son Ronnie Mefford, former wife Tina Frostell, mother Karilyn Weston and his siblings. The funeral is Monday, 2:30 at Fouts in Dunlap.
