STORM RELATED ACCIDENTS, HELPING AN ELDERLY PEDESTRIAN

ON WASHINGTON COUNTY SHERIFF'S SUMMARY


Accidents and plenty of vehicles left in ditches during the Wednesday winter storm according to the Washington County Sheriff’s Activity Summary. Also on that report from January 16th through this morning – a 32 year old male was arrested at Highway 75 and Mary Nelson Lane for driving under suspension after being pulled over for speeding.

A 23 year old male was arrested at Highway 133 and County Road 34 for possession of a deadly weapon in the commission of a felony and a number of drug related charges.

Among the many other matters on Sheriff Mike Robinson’s report, an elderly male looking for a ride to Macy was picked up by a deputy at Highway 133 and Highway 36 and taken to Tekamah. The deputy bought lunch for the old man.
