STRUCTURE FIRES, FRAUD, MAIL THEFT ON WASHINGTON COUNTY SHERIFF'S SUMMARY
Assisting a number of fire departments late last night with a house fire is on the Washington County Sheriff’s Activity Summary for the week.
Also on that report, mail theft in the 8400 block of County Road 41, a traffic stop in Blair ends in the arrest of a 24 year old male with an active Washington County warrant.
A vehicle was found in a field near County Roads P-30 and 25, the driver had a tire blowout and ended in the field and had help on the way. A house fire was dealt with earlier in the week in the 2700 block of Mad Hatter Lane, a neighbor called the Sheriffs Office because her dogs were barking at what she thought might be someone on the property, it ended up that the dogs were barking at a rekindle of the fire. Fort Calhoun Fire and Rescue responded.
Among the many other matters on Sheriff Mike Robinsons summary, a fraud in the 4500 block of County Road P-43 in which a check was mailed and it was washed and cashed.
