CRIME HEATING UP!

Warm weather means more outdoor activities, and more for the Washington County Sheriff’s Office to contend with.

A 33 year old man in a road rage incident was arrested for reckless driving that started in Burt County. A motorcyclist was stopped for traffic offences in Blair but fled towards Highway 30 and County Road 27, the 24 year old driver was arrested for felony flight and drunk driving.

 Several traffic related arrests are on Sheriff Mike Robinson’s report for the weekend. That report includes a situation in the 2500 block of County Road 45 in which a suspicious person, trying to get into someone’s vehicle let to the discovery of a stolen vehicle at County Roads 38 and 45, a stolen ATV on Herbert Henry Lane and the suspect was arrested in a stolen vehicle at Highway 91 and County Road p-17.
