WEAPON FOUND IN MUD ALONG THE MISSOURI, STOLEN VEHICLES ON WASHINGTON COUNTY SHERIFF'S REPORT
A mistake...a man called the Washington County Sheriff’s Office earlier this week, saying his vehicle had been stolen from the 600 block of Industrial Drive. That vehicle was located at a car dealership in Blair. The towing company had taken the wrong car.
Also on Sheriff Mike Robinson’s activity summary for this past week, a vehicle stolen from Omaha was found at Fort Atkinson, a traffic stop was attempted in the 7500 block of County Road p-32, which then became a pursuit. The driver, a 63 year old male was caught and arrested for motor vehicle theft, flight to avoid arrest and driving under suspension.
A 34 year old woman was arrested in Fort Calhoun for driving under suspension, no registration or insurance and two warrants. A 42 year old was arrested for possession of a controlled substance at County Road p-51 and Nathan’s Lake.
Among the many other incidents dealt with by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, a group of people were digging by the river and discovered a sawed off shotgun, which was recovered by deputies and a report taken.
