PULLING UNSAFE DRIVERS OFF OF AREA ROADWAYS, WATER RESCUE ON WASHINGTON COUNTY SHERIFF'S REPORT FOR THE WEEKEND

A 48 year old man was arrested early this morning by Washington County deputies at 15th and South for his fourth drunk driving incident.

Other matters on Sheriff Mike Robinson’s report for the weekend include a water rescue at 1240am Saturday morning of four people and three dogs on a sandbar in the Missouri River when their boat drifted away. That rescue was helped by Fort Calhoun, Ponca Hills rescue and fire departments along with the Able 1 helicopter from Omaha Police and the Douglas County sheriff’s office.

Also on that activity summary, a black pickup was stolen from the 1200 block of County Road 45
