STORMS, MAJOR MIP PARTY ON WASHINGTON COUNTY SHERIFF'S SUMMARY

    

Storms in the early hours this morning downed tree limbs and rolled garbage cans in the area. One such large tree limb in the 10,000 block of County Road 21 was called in to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office – which contacted the county roads department to place road closed signs and remove that tree limb.

    

Also on the Washington County Sheriff’s activity summary for the weekend: A very large minor in possession party in the 6800 block of County Road 21, where nearly one hundred underage people ran into fields, woods and structures to avoid apprehension. An area man was arrested for procuring alcohol for minors.

   

A power line sparking in a tree at the Fort Calhoun Ball Fields was called in, a non-responsive male was found by railroad tracks in Blair, deputies transported the person to Omaha. A 25 year old was arrested for possession of a Controlled Substance at Highway 133 and County Road 26, and among other matters, members of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office aided a person who passed out from the heat at the County fair in Arlington.
