BAD DRIVER ZONE ON HIGHWAY 133!

A structure fire yesterday morning in the 26 thousand block of County Road 14 was tended to by Winslow, Hooper and Nickerson Volunteer Fire Departments according to the Washington County Sheriff’s activity summary for the weekend. Deputies provided traffic control in that matter.

Also on Sheriff Mike Robinson’s report, a 30 year old man was stopped for speeding in Fort Calhoun, and arrested for driving under suspension.

A traffic stop for driving the wrong way on Highway 133 at 2:30 in the morning Saturday ends in the arrest of a 46 year old woman for drunk driving and leaving the scene of an accident. Just minutes before that, a 38 year old woman was arrested at the same spot for driving under suspension.

Those are a few of the matters over the weekend handled by the Washington County Sheriff’s office.
