DEER ARE ON THE MOVE - ON AREA ROADWAYS!

Several Vehicle-Deer Collisions are on the Washington County Sheriff’s Activity Summary for this past week – at Highway 133 and Quail Ridge, County Road p-32 and Old Oak Lane, County Road 19 and Dutch Hall Road, Highway 133 and County Road p-26, another at Highway 133 and County Road 34. Each of these collisions were in early morning or evening hours. Sheriff Mike Robinson reminds drivers to use extra caution during those times, drive a little slower and watch for those and other animals that are on the move during dawn or dusk.

Also on Sheriff Mike Robinson’s report, deputies aided Fort Calhoun Fire and Rescue with a fully-engulfed vehicle fire in the 5000 block of County Road 38 and a hit and run reported in Arlington.
