WASHINGTON COUNTY SHERIFF'S SUMMARY FOR THE WEEKEND

A situation in the early hours Friday – the Washington County Sheriff’s Office pulled over a woman at 2:02am, in which the driver told officers that her three children, all under the age of 7 had been home along for approximately 8 hours. The mother was arrested for child abuse, Blair Police found the children at home unsupervised and turned them over to relatives.

Also on Sheriff Mike Robinson’s report for the weekend, investigation of fraud, a man loitering around a gas station in Fort Calhoun was located later, and found to have five non-extraditable warrants and was taken to a homeless shelter in Omaha.

Among other incidents, a report of trees covered in toilet paper. The property owner just wanted it documented.
