FIRES, DRUGS, ASSAULT ON WASHINGTON COUNTY SHERIFF'S REPORT

Over the weekend, a field fire near houses in the 4800 block of Stevenson Street is on the Washington County Sheriff’s Activity Summary for February 13th through the 15th.

Also on Sheriff Mike Robinson’s report, the arrest of a 45 year old male in Fort Calhoun for driving under suspension and possession of a controlled substance. Another traffic stop, this time at Highway 30 and County Road 15 leads to the arrest of a 26 year old woman on a warrant, driving under suspension, possession of meth and drug paraphernalia.

An assault in the 11 thousand block of County Road 34 ends in the victim transported to the emergency room at Blair’s hospital. A little over two and a half hours later, the suspect in that assault, a 32 year old male returned to the residence and was arrested and taken into custody. Another fire on that summary – in the 12 hundred block of Sumak Lane – Blair Volunteer Fire and Rescue handled that call and the property owner was issued a citation.
