SWATTING, SUSPENDED DRIVERS ON WASHINGTON COUNTY SHERIFF'S ACTIVITY SUMMARY
A 60 year old male drunk driver was arrested just after midnight this morning at Highway 133 and County Road p-30 according to the Washington County sheriff’s activity summary just released today.
A traffic stop for speeding yesterday morning – the driver stopped after being followed for two miles. That driver was cited for speeding, no insurance, no registration and no operator’s license and failure to yield.
A 24 year old male was arrested in Fort Calhoun for driving under suspension. Another driver – a 28 year old woman, arrested for the same charges the day before at Highway 133 and Dutch Hall Road.
Among the many other matters on Sheriff Mike Robinson’s report, a swatting call from a New York Phone number, in which the caller claimed their daughter was cutting herself. The address given by that caller – had no kids at that home. The same address had been swatted the day before.
